I recently read some articles about being creative with your container garden. You don't have to spend a lot of money on fancy planters to create a beautiful space...just upcycle items from your home!
Wheelbarrows, coffee tins, a teakettle, wooden crates and colanders are just a few examples of container inspiration. The possibilities are endless and it's a great way to reuse and repurpose items that you already own, while creating a unique, colorful garden on your deck or patio.
I decided to get creative with my own container garden, by growing a tomato plant in our Polka Dot Jute Tote. It's growing well....here's how it looks:
The tote adds some nice color on the deck! And I love that it's so easy to move the plant if I ever need to, using the handles of the tote. Can't wait until the tomatoes are ready!
